I'm back from Ghana and the mosquito bites are still fresh. But fresher than that would be the Asasease studio where I spent time with Rodney King (not that one!) and laced a track with the Ashanti homegirl AB! Here's a lil video we shot before heading inside. Enjoy!!!

Accra! Accra! Accra!

Peace good people! I'm taking some time away from babylon and spending some time in Accra, Ghana. For those of you who don't know, I am also a poet, and have received the June Jordan Scholarship for the Pan African Literary Forum. Ive been here for a week and have one week to go. I did my juniour year in school here 4 years ago and I must say that a lot has changed. The dollar does not stretch here at all, but i'm still enjoying myself. Anyway, this is me checking in with you saying hello and sending love. I have quite a few stories that I will probably tell you about when I get back so stay tuned!
